Suran / Chena – 1 ½ cups
Raw plantain / pachakaya – 2 medium
Green chillies – 6
Ginger – 2 tsp (optional)
Salt – as needed
Water – as needed
Grated coconut – 2 cups
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
For tempering

Grated coconut – 2 tbsp
Dried red chillies – 4
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
